Are you a professional photographer? No, I am an engineer. Photography is just a hobby that is encroaching on my cycling time. |
|
Maybe. I have had a number of people who have seen my site come up to me and ask if I was Glenn, so I had a friend of mine (Mike Maloney) take this picture of me at a race. This is me: ![]() |

How long have you been taking pictures? I bought a Canon S100 Digital Elph in October of 2000. Before that I had a 35mm film camera, but hardly ever used it and hadn't touched it in ten years. I got my Canon 10D in March of 2003. |
Can I buy a print of one of you photos or get the full size image? Yes. See my purchase page. |

What can you tell me about that picture of the building on the water? Not much. It's an old saw mill in Discovery Bay, Washington. Highway 101 is just to the right. That building has looked that way since the first time I saw it in the late 80's. |
|
Why don't you take out the powerlines in that picture of the building on the water? For one thing, I don't alter photos. With the exception of some level adjustment and color correction, all the photos on this site are as they came out of the camera. |
|
How come the colors don't look right when I view the photos? It's your monitor or viewing program. Really. There is a tremendous amount of variation in colors and brightness between monitors and even some programs run on the same computer. I have calibrated my monitor for color and brightness so what I see is what the camera sees. It was quite a revelation when I did it. Colors became much more vibrant and the overall brightness of the images changed. |
|
What kind of camera do you have? It's a Canon EOS 10D. I have three lenses for it - a 16-35 2.8L, a 24-70 2.8L, and a 70-200 2.8L IS. |
Are you going to take photos at xxxx race? Probably not. I'm pretty burnt out on cycling photos, so I'm going to concentrate on other subjects for the time being. |
What happened to all the photos of xxxx race? I took them down. I only keep a few of my favorites from any particular race in the Photos section. I eliminated the Event Photo section for a number of reasons, most of which are personal. |
Did you alter that photo with Photoshop? No. With the exception of some adjusting of levels and possibly color correction, all the photos on my site came out of the camera as you see them. |
